Barbudans around the world are forever bound by the experience of September 6, 2017, when Hurricane Irma hit our beloved island. 

Out of this tragedy emerged The Be Foundation. Today, we are working to transform the lives of Barbudans through a focus on sustainable development. We are restoring and empowering our community through people-centred programming and services. We are building networks of opportunity through our relationships with partners who are equally committed the beautiful island of Barbuda.
