The Be Foundation (TBF) is a globally-connected, community-based organisation centred on Barbuda. TBF works to restore and empower the community, strengthen services to meet the needs of Barbudans, build networks of opportunity, and transform lives.
Our Trustees are changemakers who embody the foundation’s vision and operate collaboratively to lead The Be Foundation’s efforts and activities.
With backgrounds in project management, food security, farming and agriculture, healthcare, social services, education, community mobilization and community empowerment, digital information technology, marketing, financial transparency and economic accountability, and legal affairs, TBF is collective of Barbudans lending their efforts to advance sustainable social change.
Our Trustees align the necessary support to build and strengthen community-based initiatives.
Working with committed partners and volunteers, our Trustees:
Empower the voices of Barbudans to advocate for social change.
Identify opportunities for community involvement and community development.
Engage organisations, community leaders, and citizens to ensure authentic participation and shared decision-making.
Fundraise and mobilise resources.
